Lucky you. Mine WORKS in the microphone test both, the one you show and INGAME, but it DURING the game (I hear others speak but they don't hear me) no.

Try this HAHAH :rofl: . I swear the EA support is the worst in the world. Check out that one about you must have to be a commander or Sqd Ldr :)

Only certain players can take advantage of the VOIP function in the game. Be sure that you meet these criteria to use the feature:

You must be either a Squad Leader or the Commander for your team.

You must press and hold the Speak key while talking.
o
Press and hold the V key if you are the Commander to issue commands to the Squad Leaders.
o
Press and hold the B key if you are a Squad Leader to issues commands to your Squad.

If you meet these criteria but the VOIP fuctionality is still not working, verify that your sound card is the Default Sound Device on your computer.

Open the Control Panel.
2.
Double-click on Sounds and Audio Devices.
3.
Make sure that your hardware sound card is listed as the Default Sound Device. You may need to adjust the individual options on the Sound and Audio tabs.

If you are not a Squad Leader or Commander, you cannot use this functionality. Nor can it be used as a voice team speak option. VOIP was created to be a fast and effective way to issue important commands, while other communication can be done over the various text chat options.

Alt-tab out of the game while you're playing and check the mic mixer levels and re-adjust. Alt-tab back in.

BF2 REALLY messes with mic levels, mute, and boost.

Most probably they'll be back at the same level as before once you start talking to the mic.

mines got the same problem it does not seam to be saving my settings :S its does not seam to be working good when im in the bf2 settings i need to make a speek then press the test button then it picks up what im saying after that not sure if its ment to be like this :S my mic seams to work with other programs but not bf2 or maby peeps just are not saying any thing when im saying can u here me if it is working will it come up saying that im saying somthing like it does with the other players or does it not do that when its yourself ?
