Great vid, good action. I thought the music was kinda off beat to the action though, and the graphics werent too good either =/ Id reccomend making the video higher quality even if it means larger size.

Not bad, try to put some sort of storyline/objective in there not just random fragging

Don't bother training with WMM, it's good for one movie and that's about it, as soon as you learn your way around Vegas 6.0 your realise you can do so much more things, e.g professional titles are much easier to make in Vegas then say, premiere pro IMO. I've tried both, but they are still far more superior then WMM could ever be.

For encoding, I recommend that the final video should be at 1mbps (640x480) and put audio quality up to 96kbps or 128kbps to make in-game sounds that more crisp. That's a good balance between size and quality and can run full screen. For streaming on putfile, try 256kbps and halve the res. This is WMP9 encoding btw, Use a DivX encoder if you can with the same settings but It won't make that much of a difference in quality and DivX takes longer to encode.

I'm not training with WMM, however I definately do like it. It's quick for me to edit and make a movie. It lacks any sort of precisions or effects to it, but I've got a pretty good handle on it and can process through footage a lot faster with it.

Anyways, still working with Vegas 6.0. It's a tough program to learn, so I'm searching around for a few tuts to help get things rolling.

Ok vid I guess, but I really like how you get shot in the neck and head and don't die. I mean if I shot someone in the head in real life I think they'd die, hmm...

It's a movie, I can only control it so much. In single-player you get a bit more armor, so your a bit more resistant. However, even in mutliplayer BF2 you do have armor, so that's going to happen either way.

Yea, try to make a title next time so the watcher may have some idea what will happen and get some sorta story going on.

i thought fraps only worked for first person view, how the hell do u get 3rd person view with fraps? if u can tell me that would be great, or did u use the bf recorder and said fraps by accident?

                              Thanks MedicManiac!

Kayess - To get third person to work, you need to record a demo in BF2 and then play it back using the BFRecorder. Or, you can go on a server that uses Freecam and type in "renderer.hud 0" or something like that, and do it from there.
