  • Simple question about showing the FPS.

Can you make so that the FPS always show without writing the traditional "renderer.showfps 1" all the time?

    Cheers.

Re: Simple question about showing the FPS.

Download FRAPS and have it run on startup (I think it does this by default). It uses about half the memory of an open Firefox window (no activity for both). It's a lot larger and bright yellow, but you can move it around by pressing F12 to each corner and the fifth F12 makes it disappear. It also will take snapshots and movies.

If you're looking to use the BF2 only, I'd like to know as well so maybe someone else will respond. I'd also like to have game.lockFps 200 as default (I run at lower settings with multiple bots, and sometimes just against one bot and framerates are locked at 100 on default.)

      http://fraps.com/download.php

PM me if you want the full version, which allows you to film forever and save as jpg and gif images.
