Does anyone really use the zipline? like its quicker than jumping.. but wouldnt a graple be better? like a specop wouldnt use a zipline would they? and snipers need to get to high places b4 going down.

I use it a lot, especially when sniping... Start off at the highest point and work my way down... Also great for getting off of a building when a parachute would attract too much attention and to move in for a quick flag-cap (preferably with an entire squad)...

Ziplines are highly useful probably more so then a grapple for a Sniper, Snipers don't just need to get to a high vantage point but they also need to be able to move quickly and relocate after a few shots. Zipline is perfect for this; it can get you across overwise unpassable terrain and very quickly. If you work well with a squad you have atleast one assault player and one spec ops or sniper and you can get almost anywhere.

I find as I snipe alot myself, relocation is the key to not getting caught off guard or spotted. Zipline just makes it that much easier and has saved my life many-a-time.

I use zipline all the time. And my mate usually uses crapplinghook. We've became pretty skilled using them together.

IMO those 2 are the best additions in SF, with maps of course.

I use Zip more than the hook. Its a fast way to move around and you can get many places the hook cant go.

I do notice my sound cuts out a lot when Im on the Zip Line. Always comes back when I get off though. Little bug there.

Nah, I never use it. That is why I have the veteran zip line badge - LMAO.

I like it - but I find the grapple to be a bit more functional and worth while.

if I can have a squad member with a grapple, I will defintely take the zip

i dont really like how with the zipline we have to get 3000 for vet and 6500 for exp. thats a lot of zipping and i dont really use them alot. i like the graple a lot better couse its more use full i think

i use it, though i would rather the snipers have a grapple, i love the spec ops having a zip.

No - the only non-gun transfer over to vbf2 is the flashbang grenade
