Alright, before I get flamed, yes, I did in fact use the search function. While I now know every way to fix other people's problems, I still dont know how to fix mine.
Here is the deal, I used to play BF2 back when it first came out and it ran pretty well on my machine. After the second patch, though, it would begin crashing to desktop. I uninstalled it because I was mad with the game.
Now I decided to reinstall and get back in the action, I was hoping maybe the new patch would work. The only difference between my old computer and the one I have now is that I changed the gpu to an 7800 GT.
Now, when I start the game it goes to its black screen, waits a few seconds, then crashes back to desktop. I've updated my graphics drivers and my soundcard drivers.
I'll post specs, too.
