Suddenly can't move cursor after loading a map

I've had this game since it came out and not had any problems like this before. But today I logged in, joined a server, loaded the map up but when the spawn screen came up, my cursor was frozen in the middle of the screen and I couldn't move it. The game didn't seem to be frozen because I could still hear everything and see all of the text moving in the top left corner. I tried to press esc and go back to the menu but it wouldn't work. The only thing I could do was press alt-f4 to exit the whole game. I've restarted my computer and tried different servers but it does this everytime now.

Anyone know whats wrong.

Also, I know this should have gone in the bugs section but not a whole lot of people look in there.

this happened to me, u have to go to your settings, your controls have been changed, they are blank, so reset your controls, and itll work.

it happened completely randomly to me. just one day logged on and nothing. so i reinstalled a couple times still nothing. figured i check settings, and there it was. glad i could be of assistance.
