winning in BF2 is 30% beeing good, 50% luck, 20% having money

Winning in BF2, also SF, with winning I mean beeing first in a round or in top 3 or something like that.

30% beeing good : yes, this is a small part, but it has to be here, you need to be good at aiming, knowing your map and possibilitys, knowing where the vehicles spawn and what you can do with it, also wich tactics works best on certain maps.

50 % luck : yes, this is the biggest part you need for winning a round, even if you suck, with this 50 % you could be able to win the round, with luck I mean
    - you are where you need to be, meaning, sometimes you cape some flag, but it's the whole other side of the map and no vehicles, meaning you have bad luck, you can't make points because nowbody is there, in luck you are just where the action is.
    - also , you are lucky when you have the vehicle that is neede on the certain map (jets on wake for example) or you rush into 10 infantry guys with your apc
    - with luck I also mean, you spawn and the second after there isn't artilery on your head, there isn't a bomb falling at your head, there isnt an enemy behind you shooting you in the back
-with luck I also mean, the connection, sometimes you get lag, connection problems just at the moment you want to shoot some guy, you die offcourse
    - also with luck I mean your pc is one of the pc's who runs BF2 without any flaws, this hasn't have to be an uber system, some uber systems have major fps drops at some moments, get stuck, crash to desktop, ....

then 20% money : yes, money is needed, how more money you can spend on your pc rig how higher you can set the detail and resolution, wich is very good for seeing enemy's very fast, certainly in choppers and stuff

Eh. I don't really agree. My breakdown is more like:

      20% Skill in planning
      25% Skill in execution
      30% Awareness and Adaptability
      15% Luck
      10% Time and money

For the most part I agree with this. :) You've forgot however that luck can be manipulated. Switching teams and playing to win (see: dirty) will force luck on your side. I don't see ANY point in winning if you're not playing for fun, though. People get so mixed up in their stats and awards.

That's hardly luck, capping the flag with the vehicles is an important strategy.

          - also , you are lucky when you have the vehicle that is neede on the certain map (jets on wake for example) or you rush into 10 infantry guys with your apc
Again, I disagree, CAP THE RIGHT FLAGS if you want those jets.

Not luck if you can spawn in an area with a huge roof over your head (like in Karkand or Dalian). In SF you see a lot more of this (areas you can spawn and be sure not to get killed by a vehicle or artillery strike)

-with luck I also mean, the connection, sometimes you get lag, connection problems just at the moment you want to shoot some guy, you die offcourse
Mostly true, but you can sort a server by ping,

also with luck I mean your pc is one of the pc's who runs BF2 without any flaws, this hasn't have to be an uber system, some uber systems have major fps drops at some moments, get stuck, crash to desktop, ....
          Agreed.

Luck is a huge factor though, because there are 8-32 other people on your team who play an equal part. So your skill is only one 8th or 32nd of what matters.

Obviously the net power of a team is based on the makeup of its members. I was talking about the individual as an individual.

              Oh! Okay.

Then I'd agree and say skill is a much bigger factor.

True, expecially I saw A LOT of noob justs run into the streets in karkand for capturing the first flag, ignoring the fact that MEC troops were nade spamming....

                25% Skill in execution
                True, but I put this @ a higher %tage,
Like 30-35, noob spraying won't help you anywhere
And to dodge bullet w/ bunny hopping (I consider that as skill too )

                30% Awareness and Adaptability
                yeap
Put that 15%, you should be running away if you see an enemy vechicle (as a n infantry)
                15% Luck
                WAY HIGHER
I just had a team which was completely noob, camp and unwilling to capture flags even it is an extremely important one (TV station @ Pen)
A lonewolf can't do much and just seeing myself get rapped....

Or might be when you were low in ammo/health
you keep screaming for help, the support/medic were NEXT TO YOU, but don't give a **** and just ignore you... (happen to me A LOT)

Or a team which has no medic/support @ all.....

Or an idloit is keep on team killing...

I would like to have another stick of 1GB and a joystick.
But I don't have time to go either of those store (Final and study while other time I am in the campus )

I would personnaly say it is

                  20% Skill
                  10% Time (increases skill)
30% Team work (if you are in a clan you can win a match with them against people who are just running around)
20% Money (If you have better controllers and more RAM ect. you will be better)
10% Adaptability (If you have skill this should come naturally though)
                  10% Luck

Eh I don’t think there is as much luck involved as stated above....Sure sometimes there is luck...But if you plan well, practice often, and have a good group of people you play with, well then I guess you are lucky you prepared...

                      You forgot -10% Typing.

Is it me, or is it impossible to find a server where two retards arent spending a whole round chat flaming each other about stupid cr@p? This game has been a lot more fun now that I run around with a knife hunting down chat spammers to cut up while they're typing. And whats up with the huge fonts now? The orange text was bad enough...
