thats about the dumbest, stupidest, moronic thing I have ever seen
in a game...

This is 2005 for Christ sake, they cant use their friggin brains for half
a second over there at DICE or what ?

Game ends..you MIGHT want to stick around for the next game..unless
its one of those horrible maps you absolutely hate playing..in my case,
Strike at Karkand (Strike at Noob-Tube-And) , but I'll be damn if I dont
have to load the whole damn next map before it even tells me what it
is...

Sure sometimes you can look at the game history over on the right side
and tell what map comes next (AFTER YOU HAVE TO SIT THRU THE
HIGH SCORES SCREENS...) but then other times you cant tell by looking
at that..

Would it have been so hard to show the map that is LOADING before
its fully loaded and youre already in.. ??

I could not agree more.

But to be super technical, you can find out what the next map is by looking at the background when the map is loading, as each map has a distinctive background on the loading screen. Still, it's stupid that I have to resort to that to know what the next map is.

Look at the backgorund on the scoring screen when the new map is loading, After a while you can tell what map is loading by that picture....

The thing that really ****ing pee's me off is RELOADING the same map on a 24/7 server after so many rounds. I mean WFT?!?! WFT is the point? The map is already loaded into memory and now it's being loaded again? I know that the scores have to be reset and stuff, but c'mon; what's the point of putting players through the annoying ass loading screens again? Just so the admins can get in their jets quicker?

or what i odnt understand about some 24/7 servers is that they set the total ammount of rounds to 2 or 5 why not just make it around 50 or more.....

That map listing on the right side is horrible. Who knows how that is sorted, and who cares anyway.

Here's a better idea for the list -> Why not display the server's maplist config there, showing say the last couple maps played and the next ten+ maps in the rotation? Include the rounds too so you can know in advance when to take a break while loading up. Highlight the current playing conditions in yellow, and make this list viewable from Multiplayer browser to help you shop for a server to play on. Kinda like this:

You know how there are some bugs like no squads can form or other stupid things like that? When the map gets reloaded, everything gets reset so these bugs go away.

If it weren't for the reloading, you would have super buggy maps after like the 20th time it has been played. I think that 6-10 is a good range. . .i can live with it reloading every six matches.

Nor how long it takes to get rid of the menu once you've errantly loaded it.

I'm not sure why I have to hit escape 16 times, but I do.

This game really does have alot of 'character'

ALT + F4 solves that problem.
