arent you sick of all the awards - ribbons and badges that are simply impossible to attain. Although rank requirements ahve been reduced, the awards system needs addressing in the next patch.

Been playing BF2 since day one and Ive got just about all the awards now I'm ever gonna get and I miss that little drumroll and sense of achievement when a new award is presented.

I'd argue that's it time to move away from that system then. Get out there and enjoy the things which make the game infinitly more enjoyable such as mods and custom maps.

PRMM is a great one to start with - www.realitymod.com

DCON has also released their CTF mod which many find enjoyable.

If combat medals were locked so getting them in a tank etc. would be impossable.

OR

Perhaps you should look at just enjoying the game, playing in competitions, playing with clans and friends, just generally enjoying yourself?

I do enjoy the game and dont concetrate on solely getting awards its just annoying that most are impossible to get. I havent seen any particulaly good mods yet

Um...if the awards were easy, what sense of accomplishment would you have? Yay I killed 3 people with C4! i'm happy now...As opposed to YES! 37 kills with C4!!!! ::everyone bowing down to you and your negative 37 teamscore:: lolz
