How limit # of vehicles on map?

I looked, can't find it, and searching the forums just gives a bunch of posts about vehicles...

How do I limit the # of vehicles on a Single Player map?

e.g., if I want to play all infantry?


(and do I use a separate menu in multi player? I assume there's a server creation menu...)

As far as I know, you don't.

Choose a map with no vehicles, or edit the script yourself, make a mod, but right now you can't do much concerning vehicles.

OK, so there are (single-player?) maps with no vehicles?

And I identify find these how? By looking up stats online, maybe?

PS -- I like the infantry exchanged best, and sometimes when a good exchange is interuppted by vehicle weaponry it's like a deus-ex-machina, can be bummer...

I know, you'll say, if I don't want vehicles, I should go play americas army or something.

But BF2 is so great, trying to find a solution within that.

Agreed, infantry combat in this game is fun for some reason.
