How good is this game, honestly. I played it a while ago but had to reformat and forgot about it so I started a new game the other day as a different class. This game certainly has a great atmosphere. Has anyone played this, if so what race did you go? I want to know what Nosferatu are like...

I've played it, and it truly has a great atmosphere, but coz it's a quite long time since i've played it, i don't remember too much about it. IIRC i were playing on a malkavian chick vampire. -

I wanted this game quite a lot - I might get it soon, but i've heard its like the worst game in the world for bugs and stuff.
The company that made it are now bust.Comment

Re: Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines
Well I havent noticed any bugs at all when playing both times. The only thing that's a small gripe is the load times, while they aren't long, you pretty much get one each time you leave a building, not always though. Because it saves so much autmatically, you might find it hard if you want to backtrack if you do a mistake. It keeps all the saves there for you. Great game though.Comment

Re: Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines
Excellent game. I played it through from start to finish twice and a bit. Really good atmostphere but yeh you need lots of ram and a good video card otherwise it gets a bit chopper in some cities after you have been playing it for ages.
There were bugs but nothing too major. There are unofficial patches avialable made by fans of the game that make it better and fix some bugs (for example one quest was next to impossible to complete because it was too hard etc, but didn't stop you going on in the game).
I found myself hoping for a number 2 but won't happen seeing the company went bust. Although I heard another company sorta bought all its old staff and stuff... so heres hoping.Comment

Got it... Played it, finished it.. Couldnt bring myself to play it a 2nd round.
It was pretty decent, dont get me wrong I just didnt hink it was all it had been advertised.
The load times were a bit annoying after a while (Much like prev poster said) They were not long, just a lot of them. Why it simply wouldnt cache the locations or at least the exterior level/city so you could at least exit the bldg quickly is beyond me.
Other than that I didnt notice Any bugs. I remember people mentiong them on other forums, but thought they were vamp class related. If so... I iether bypassed that class or the individual mission.
Hardest one for me was the abandoned/burned mansion... Dang flying things kicked my butt.Comment
