Thanks for viewing my thread... 1st round things play pretty good but after a couple of map reloads my cursor starts to "float" over to where I'm trying to locate it and the game stutters very bad when I try to sprint. Can this be caused by a heat problem?
Also tell me this! When I start the game I get a window that says my monitor is "out of range 58.6hz and 85hz". I think the 85hz is the problem but don't know how to change setting, where ever it is. Only happens when I start BF2, never any other time. I've changed drivers and video cards trying to deal with the lag problem but this window still appears on all settings. I am running the game at 1024x768, 60 hz, and all settings on low. I think I have a decent video card ( Leadtek A6600GT, but only 128mb DDR3). I should get better than results this. I'm using the nvidia 77.72 drivers now, they seem to run the best for me. I have tried the 81.XX and a couple of beta drivers from 3Dguru with worse results.
Any help appreciated....
