    C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

    I get this error every time I try to launch Special Forces and it still does it even after I reinstalled it and installed the new patch again..

      Hmm try to uninstall BF2 and special forces. Go to Ccleaner.com, download the Ccleaner/Cr*pcleaner. Install the Ccleaner and run the top two options on the left, dont forget to switch to applications for the first of the two (Sorry at work and cannot remember the name of the buttons). After you've cleaned up any issues, reinstall Battlefield 2, and then SF, update with the latest patch, Defrag your pc and try again. There may be an erroneous/corrupt value in the registry, plus the cleaner will check for invalid links, etc. Sorry I cant explain better my brain is mushy....
