Has Anyone Found a Playing Style that works 4 the SCAR-L?...

Going through the stats, it seems like its only positive trait is is low deviation added per shot. I have only four unlocks left, the two engie's ( i never play engie) the MG-36 and the SCAR-L.

I will have my next two unlocks in the next week or so....

I am definately getting the MG-36 because there is a bunch of testing I want to do to find its sweet spot/ ideal method of use....

Now I realize that the SCAR-L is generally a lowly regarded weapon. Going by numbers, it doesnt seem to have much going for it. I would like to add that those that think its more accurate at range than the G-36C need to bite the bullet and learn iron sights....

In my case though, I am a hard-core spec ops player, and since I already have my excellent G-36C, I am wondering if there are situations or specific styles of play that can be used to bring out its strengths and switching to it when I want to play a different style from what the G-36C encourages.

Hey mate.
I personally love the SCAR-L. I started an entire new account and imediately unlocked the G36C and SCAR-L.
Basically i use it similar to the G36C, I don't go straight in guns blazing (as you obviously know, no armor on a Spec Op so you get owned pretty easily), i hang back a bit and let other people do alot of fighting, i move between cover and fire at the enemy from a fixed position. The SCAR does very well when you are in a fixed position firing, prone/crouched/standing all work well. It is a very similar gun to the G36. It is not as strong running and gunning as it is firing fixed, but it is still good.

The SCAR-L "feels" more powerful than the G36C to me, accuracy seems almost the same. I prefer the scope on the SCAR though, I like the M4 styled sight, it lets me see more of the target area, not saying I don't like G36's sight, I do, very much, I just prefer the open dot scope.

I find it an overall good gun

its a little more powerful, and a little less accurate than the g36c. To me, its something to mess around with when I am bored, otherwise the g36c still kicks butt lol.

i think the F2000 (along with rest of kit) is THE best kit in the game... the gun is AWESOME.... accurate, and its a 1 shot kill to the head for those of you who dont know. there is the nade launcher, and of course... the flashbangs.. which are useful for ALOT of things.

whats all this stats checking, min. deviation stuff...who cares, you can use any weapon effectively if you just choose your tactics and stop basing whether or not a weapon is good just because it has .02 high deviation than another gun in the same class.

If you're a regular G36C user, the only thing the SCAR-L will bring to the table is slightly higher performance in CQC. Use it if you're planning on defending tighter corridors, like on Karkand or Mashtuur, or interior spaces like the warehouses.

On open ground the -L will get worked pretty handily by the other carbines, and even some of the rifles.

Don't be afraid to use it on full auto mode with extended length bursts, instead of the single shot/short bursts you might be used to.

I never get killed by the SCARs. I still find the G36C to be the most annoying rifle to counter, followed by the PKM, only because it seems to rip my balls off in one shot when I can't hit squat with it myself.
