Alright - before you bitch and moan about this thread - read it.
I am the one that confirmed that you can get the Veteran Zip line - and that it is 3500 deployments, not 1000, or 3000, but 3500.
I also confirmed that you do not have to ride all 3500 of those, you just need to deploy them.
Now, along the same lines - I confirmed this is true for the Tactical Nades and Grappling Hook Basic Badges. You do not need to climb the grapple, you can just deploy it. For the tactical nades - I was able to get it throwing 10 flashbangs or 10 teargas, but I was not positive on the combination of the 2 of them would do it. I tested more and sometimes you could combine them, but most of the time you could not.
So my going for 1000 combined nades was a waste of time. I resorted to going after 1000 teargas since I can do those easier than flashbangs in a shorter period of time. I decided I would keep a tally, and if I got it before 1000, it would have been because of all the ones I had done before. I had been keeping tabs on my totals of flashbangs and teargas together - did not make a distinction between the 2...unfortunately.
Just in the last 2 nights I did well over 1000 teargas nades alone. Not including the over 600 combined that I had before I even kept a strict tally of what I did the last 2 nights.
Still no badge.
So I went after the grapple. I did well over 3500 in just the last 2 nights as well - kept a strict talley - and nothing. No badge. In total I have more than 4000 deployments with the grappling hook, and still no badge.
So what is the deal - has anyone gotten the veteran Grappling Hook or tactical nade? I think the numbers are wrong on these 2 - but I have confirmed you can get the vet Zipline.
