You guys have said it all, radio commands can't be tough stuff to add. They should squeeze it into the next patch.

well, its still so tough for DICE to fix the server browser, so i seriously doubt it. :p

What would he kinda handy is an easier way to see who is speaking. At the moment you know because it says their name, but its sometimes hard or time consuming to see who that actaully is onscreen.

For example if someone says i need backup or is under fire...as a sniper i would try to cover them...it takes a while to find out who that actually is.

Not sure how this could be tackled. The person speaking flashes yellow, but only on the map. The problem is compounded when theres alot of chatter.

I would like to see the ability to be able to have proximity talk, instead of only in squad, you can talk to people around you...

Sneak up to enemies and yell "BOOOOOOOO!", followed by a knife :p

Everything is already proximity. Go sit next to your commander and you'll hear everything he says in person. I always sneak up behind people and spam "Yes" and "Okay" until they turn around - then I knife em.

Haven't you noticed that you can hear nearby enemy soldiers warn of a thrown grenade?

that only works with the prerecorded dialog

it would be cool if the things you physically say are audible for players close to you. would incur alot of network traffic though...guess thats why you can only speak to youre squad.

It can't be hard to add more radio messages... But how many can you squeeze onto that worthless commo rose? Bring back the Fkey radio commands for f***'s sake!

looking at the Localization Files you can see that load of them commands were in the game.

I would also like to have 'Run Away, run away!' - which is very handy when ya see a tank or when your nad hits the wall and lands by your feet.

And 'Get you ass back here' How many times I have run from one flag to another chasing a person who asked for ammo, who cant seem to see Im behind him.

Having some funny sayings while knifing would be hilarious... "Say goodnight Habib" I'd also make the animation slow down so your victim doesnt drop immediately, but rathers falls back on you (w/ a dramatic gurgle). How horrible would that be to find yourself in a headlock, unable to move much more than your head 10 degrees to either side and know its coming in 3... 2... 1... *ack*?

My complaint about the commo rose is that I dont like where all the stuff is placed. Even on the Squad Leader menu, where there's less stuff, I'd rather have the UAV request just to the left or right without having to go up and down the list. It'd be great if you could configure your own rose much like you can change your key / mouse / joystick assignments. And for that matter, wouldnt it be better to select rose options with the RIGHT mouse button?!? How many of you have tried to quietly SPOT an enemy and wound up shooting your weapon instead? I hate that.

For servers running VoIP I think it'd be cool if you could custom record 8 small wave files and have those stored anywhere in your rose. You could relate them to their equivalent standard expressions so requests for supplies, or health/ammo packs, etc still show on the radar. But then you could, for example, have several different Attack Here options... one for a stealthy approach, one for a balls out attack, one for secure that area until reinforcements arrive, etc.

are you sure??? When I first played bf2 with my audigy2 (that means audio settings on "high", finally!!) I could swear I heard the guy behind me in the buggy swearing 'cause I was going the wrong way

And the Americans go 'SWEEEHHHH' like a stuck pig when you stab them.

'Wait!' and 'Fall back!' are desperately needed.

This is the type of communication they have in Halo 2. Whenever you speak, by default, it is said for all to hear. When youre close to anyone, they hear it through their speakers, but if youre further away, they hear it through the headset. You have to specifically press a button to talk to just your team.

I kinda like that idea, its a lil more realistic with snooping devices.
