    pilot kit

why not have a kit just for pilots that would work for chopper or jet? it could have a knife, pistol, 1 non-replenishable health pack, since they carry a survival kit in some aerial vehicles in rl. that way everybody wouldnt be waiting for the aerial vehicles and if they did they had better be good with that pistol or knife. that would keep every tom, **** and harry from jumping in unless they were devoted to flying. just an idea.

And how is that different than the 20 snipers standing on the runway/heli pad now?

        Why just "the devoted"?

Why do they have to be devoted to flying in order to have a turn in the jet/helicopter? I like to take a spin in the jets every once in awhile, it's fun and exciting. Sure, I get my butt shot down sometimes, but hey! It'll respawn, and I've had my fill of 600mph induced adrenaline rushes.

Sometimes, if I'm able, I even bring it back around to the airfield and land it in front of some players waiting. They must think I'm crazy that I'd actually LAND a jet once I had gotten control of it and get OUT of it, letting someone else take it.

Hogging vehicles isn't very sportsmanlike, and it's unfair for those who want a turn in that kind of vehicle. Obviously, you shouldn't just use a jet as a one-way rocket, getting to your destination and bailing out. That's just wasteful; but it wouldn't hurt for people to take turns when it comes to flying the few airplanes on the map.

Besides, if you are always flying airplanes all the time, you're missing out on the stellar infantry combat and the fantastic armor battles. There is a whole 'nother side to combat that you might enjoy just as well!
