Today was the first day in a long time I had fun playing and it was because this guy was my co pilot in the attack chopper. He was about 90% accurate with the tv guided missle. My face lit up like a christmas tree when he fired it off immediately and got a kill on the other side of the map. We were playing Gulf of Oman and only died once in the chopper. He had 47 kills and I managed about 7 I think. Expert gunners like this is what the game is all about. He took out the AA placements as soon as we got in sight of them and was constantly launching his tv guided missle. Actually I think he got more kills with that than with the cannon. If you get a server and he's on your side, you're in luck. If he's on the other side, good luck. lol

Yesterday I'm floating us behind a BH that's about 50% view distance away. Nothing is happening. Nothing. Nothing. I spun out of control as I typed a frantic message of unleashing the TV missiles and challenging his intellectual prowess. Recovering control, I moved closer to the still unsuspecting BH. Buddy opens up with his machine gun. I dive straight into the ground.

"Nice flying ****head."

Yesterday I'm floating us behind a BH that's about 50% view distance away. Nothing is happening. Nothing. Nothing. I spun out of control as I typed a frantic message of unleashing the TV missiles and challenging his intellectual prowess. Recovering control, I moved closer to the still unsuspecting BH. Buddy opens up with his machine gun. I dive straight into the ground.

"Nice flying ****head."

"Thanks."

i know, its irritating as hell
today i sat in a BH with 5 ppl, i was sitting in the back, what does the pilot do? he flies straight into the cooling tower of dalian plant.... Frontal, without even trying to turn away :|:

That usually happens if the pilot has connection problems or frame lag lol.

Eh. I play in clan servers mostly (=NAA= most common), and pretty much all of them are trained extensively with TV missiles, so that's not uncommon.

What I'm surprised with in your story though is that your gunner was the commander. He gets zero points for kills with the tv missile, though you do get assist points. A good commander (and no, you CANNOT prove this wrong) stays back, and stays in commander mode, and does NOT go running around with his team into combat.

Probably would have been better off just bombarding the BH with rockets. Not like the guy would listen or understand how to use the TV missiles the second you told him anyway. He'd probably f up.

I was wondering the samething Roy. lol That's one thing we got lucky with iewgnem. Their pilots were to busy doing bombing runs to worry about us. Since Oman has 7 or so AAs, we were constantly being locked on, and sometimes by more than just one at a time. I always managed to get low enough or behind something to break the lock. But man did I have a good time.
