wepon problem wtf

ok my wepons sometimes are full auto and sometimes semi..... specifically the sepc ops unlock, sometimes its full auto and sometimes its semi... am i somehow switching between the 2? please help

you're either pressing 3 while the rifle is out, or scrolling through your weapons using the mouse and you decide not to choose something else and reclick your rifle. Thats the only way to change the rate of fire...but rest assured, there are sometimes you don't even realize that you changed the rate of fire and get killed because of it...has happened to me more than a few times.

lag might also be causing this. This is very similar to the C4 bug. It's all in the BF2's net code and DICE needs to fix it.

Personally, I'd really like a specific firing mode key. It's a PITA trying to swtich from one to the other on the fly.

Lag causing firing modes to switch? I doubt it, at least Ive never seen it. And yeah you have to reselect ur wep.

Alt = Best firing mode key, I remember when I first started playing Bf2 wondering why the hell I was shooting 1 shot at a time...
