whats the best spot to hit a tank to take it out quickly. i once hit a tank 3 times and he still didnt blow. wheres the best place to hit a tank with another tank or anti-tank rocket?

top and rear, but NEVER shoot at a tank if it is sitting next to a supply crate. Completely ignore the tank and take out the supply crate. Its sad how many players actually ignore the supply crate waste 5 rpgs get rearmed waste more rpgs and cry hacks since the tank wont blow.

hmm...ive heard many things...hitting in the treads (wheels) can kill in one hit and (havent tried this one but was told) hitting the part between the turret and the body, but the turret must be facing away)Comment

Rear, tracks/side and top. Or whatever side I can. Definately take out the supply crates too like wbcninjaofmist said.Comment

Probably untrue: I read in some post that if you shoot at the back, at some black area, where the turret meets the body - it's a kill. Even if it is true, which I DOUBT, good luck hitting that little area in combat

There are only 4 spots that work in practise.
The front and rear tracks, not from the side, but the flat part. All it takes is two shots and the tank is critical, if it sustained damage before, its dead.
Still, it takes good timing and a steady hand to hit those places in combat. If im dealing with a problematic camper in a tank i usually hop infront of his tank and go prone, he will back up, and i get a perfect shot at his tracks. I probably still die, but it beats getting killed while i try killing it by just aiming at the body.Comment

there was talk a while ago about the 1 hit kill spots in the tanks, so I went in single player and did get several 1 shot kills in some area between the turret and body. However, it seems my results were pretty inconsistant since i would "try" to hit the same spot twice where the one hit kill occured and, no dice. The Most consistant place I found, which was already stated, is the flat part of the tracks on the front or rear of the tank (not the side) always, 2 shot kills there.Comment

I've never been in a tank where someone has killed me in one shot using the AT kit. On the other end of things I play the AT kit 90% of the time and i have NEVER killed a tank with one shot if it wasn't already previously damaged.
One Shot tank kills are complete bul1$hit, whoever says they can do that are full of crap.

I've been taken out in 1 shot from full health by another tank and was facing it front on so if the elusive 1 shot kill spot exists I assume it's somewhere on the front.
I usually aim for the treads when shooting tanks.Comment

I try and sneek up on the tank (with my tank of course) and shot the back rear tracks and usally only take 2 shots and its gone,im not to good going 1v1 with another tankComment
