Yeah, and if you notice in some of the earlier videos/screenshots, the Brits fought the MECSF AND Insurgents (probably same with the SEALS). I think they changed this so the n00b tube/non-n00b tube armies wouldn't fight eachother (then it would be imbalanced). They might have originally intended to give everyone a n00b tube when they first started developing SF (before BF2 was out) but the customers "whining" about it made them change their minds. They decided to compromise.

Not everyone who uses the GL is a noob.
Fair enough you get the ppl who constantly run around with the GL selected and pop one of at your feet before you can even blink but you have to admit its a great addition to the assault classes armoury.Because at the end of the day you are ASSAULT.

I will continue to use my GL regardless of these allegations of being a noob with a toob,if it cranks up my kills then who cares....

indeed I agree with the guy above the GL is a "noob tube" to some but to me it saved my life so many times. And it's a part of the game. At the end of the day when you're faced with a guy shooting you from far or running at you and you throw one right at him and see that "you killed ****" you're not going to be like..."oh that was so cheap I should be more considerate next time" no you're goin to be like THAT'S RIGHT NEGRO!!!!

...notice how the side with the grenade launcher usually wins that map?

There's a reason that clans competing in ladders, which are about winning above all else, use the GL and C4 almost 100% of the time. It's not a coincidence.
