Awards, Badges, and Ranks

Hi, I'm new to BF2 and was just wondering when you earn a rank, badge, or award in a server/round, and leave the server before the round ends or get kicked by an admin or something, do you still get whatever you earned?

I dont believe so, and it sucks, because ive had rounds where im doing really well.Then my ping goes crazy and i get disconnect, leaving all those points behind.

I have to disagree, but it depends on the amount of time between earning the badge/rank/ribbon/ to yer time of disconnect. If its 10min, then I think yer safe, it 20 seconds maybe not. But if you earn one of those things and get disconnected, you know you can do it and are very close to getting it!
