cant shoot my gun anymore

whenever i fire my gun, it lags for like 10 seconds and i see my muzzle flash go at liek 1 frame per second...and i reinstalled bf2 and the patch and still have that problem...any help?

this hasnt happpend b4 and i was playing fine yesterday, and also...the game seems to run fine at fine fps but until someone fires their gun or smeothing like big combat, i loose my fps to like 1

do u have any background programs running? spyware, anti-virus? anything of that sort.

no none..and if i did...the whole game would be laggin and not just when i fire my gun

Try clearing the cache folder. My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache. Delete everything inside that folder.

yea tried that and reinstalling also does that...this is really aggravating
