client zip errors

i have recently had to reformat my pc and now when i try to reinstall bf2 i keep getting about 4-7 client zip errors during install. this is a first for me and am losing my mind trying to fix the problem. i have made sure my disks are clean and scratch free but that hasnt made any difference either.

has anyone else ever had these errors and were they fixable?

Are you using the EA Dler or the actual disks?

I sent a support ticket thru EA lat nite regarding this same issue. The gave me a link to a reg exe deally that may do the trick although I am confused on what to do with the BF2 key...with or without dashes.

Im not sure exactly WHEN to run that but that said make sure EA DLer is not running when you do this.

im using the retail disks for the install...dont know if that makes a difference but ill look into it....thanks
