hey guys i went out and got bf2sf about 30 min ago and was wondering can i still play regular bf2 through sf or do i have to open it seperatly?

What? No thats wrong. If you buy sf and open up sf and then try to join a regular bf2 map, then it will close sf, load bf2, and then try to load you into the server.

Or is he asking something else?

Alcorr is right. It closes out of SF, and auto-loads BF2.
