Ok I get taking big jumps and hitting "9" on my keyboard to release my parachute...but it never works and then...death...any tips?

set a secondary key... reaching for the 9 is too far... n press it constantly

This has been happening to me a lot lately. I have the parachute binded to both the 9 and Backspace key and a bunch of times lately the parachute won't deploy. Hopefully it's just a glitch that's temporary. The only thing I can advise is to hit the key and don't stop pushing it until you either die or it opens.

make sure you wait till till your gun dissapears before you hit the parachute. and yes... remap to backspace key - much better.
