Anyone else driven nuts by this?

Having to re-create a squad everytime? Having to re-calculate tactics every round?

Part of the reason I like playing maps with more then one round is that I like the concept of a "Rematch", another chance to win, improve...

If the only benefit is to 'even out' some of the advantages a particular team gets in a couple of maps, I think it's far more detrimental because it really screws up squad play (I'd spend 1/3 of the round trying to join a squad with some tactics/plan and mics).

Yes, whats really annoying is when you are about to win, its like 250-2, you have 100 score (first place in server) the guy right behind you has 99, hes dead, so hes not going to get any higher score. You get auto switched.

You get -2. You have 98, he has 99. He gets gold. ARGHH!

I hate auto switch so bad.

1st of all I want to get straight what you mean by auto team switching as there are 2 types:

1st type is team switching mid game which the server does to ensure the teams are balanced. It maybe annoying when it happens but it does it to ensure the teams are balanced otherwise people would be complaining the teams are unbalanced. The only way to avoid this is to "Pay to Play" This means you have your own ranked server and using BF2CC you can add your clans tags in so they never get team switched mid-round.

2nd type is team switching at the end of each round. Some servers like ours have this setup to change teams at the end of each round. We really like this as it gets boring playing the same team all the time. However to have this feature unfortunately you need to re-create or re-join a squad at the beginning of each round. No problem for us as someone in our clan makes a squad or 2 or 3 and then invites the rest to join. No big deal really.

Talking about the second one (end-of-round).

If you're bored playing the same team, change teams manually. At least you get to do it on your terms...

Do you guys have to search for who creates your new squad every round? Do you use a custom name for ease of identification?

Yesterday I played for about 4 or 5 hours. I had my mic on, but hardly used it as I was getting into a different squad every round. Once I find a squad with a couple of mics thats actually into team play, I like to stick with it. But having to re-form every round is such a PITA that it usually doesn't happen and everyone seems to just fall into individual point-farming/tactics.
