Well I tried it out last night and loved it!!!

Those guys made a solid game....AGAIN!!

Looking forward to their next release.

I do recomend playing on no more than a 48 person server as 64 gets to be a spawn camping madhouse.

Any thoughts from you other guys out there who have tried it?

Played for a while on a UK server, and found to have extreme potential, but very much like BF2 itself, this potential isnt realised because of the majority of players. It was, to say the least, a bunny hopping mess, with CTF and a few new vehicles. Can be great if everyone played together.

I watched my son play it last night. Looked like a lot of fun running back and forth between two flags.
It was one big AT war (if this don't make you good with the AT nothing will).
I'm gonna try later today myself.

I downloaded it last night too, but I found myself in a server that didn't work or something.

Is there supposed to be a flag we carry or what? All I saw was spawn capping just like conquest. And the score was never tallied so we had no damn idea who was winning.

BTW, the map I played it on was Mashtuur.

Great potential but I thought it was a bit, I dunno, messy, maybe it's lack of hardware, like tanks, attack choppers, planes on some of the maps etc. Maybe I'm just not used to it, maybe I'm awful at it.

There are two UCB's. Between them are neutral flags. You take control of flags close to the enemy UCB in order to launch better attacks. You touch the flag in the enemy UCB (an icon of the flag will hover above your head) and dash over to your UCB to capture it. Your team will get 1 point. No score was tallied when you played cause no one captured the flag yet.

Yeah, but I was in there for 2 hours. Can't score a flag in 2 hours in a pub server? lol

However, I did play it again on a different sever today with the map being Zatar. To me, it's not that great, lol. Each team just c4'd their flag over and over again, got lame.

all it is is people exploding themselves into the air w/ c4 and spawn camping, its a great idea, but not really fun to play

I played on the VA server in Zatar Wetlands for a bit tonight.. didn't really feel any different than any other server except for the flag messages. There was some jackass that was flying around with a flag for about 10 minutes and making no attempt to actually capture it, no admins to be founds, and of course kickvoting didn't work. I'll wait until they decide to let other people run servers and/or have admins present before I try it again.
