Should be ok I think just make sure you have over 512mb of RAM tho.

I have 768MB of RAM
and a Radeon 9600 Pro 256MB

I myspecs dont really meet the min, requirements and I play without lag.

I can happily tell you it should work fine.

I have a 128MB ATI Mobility Redeon 9700, I'm using the DNA drivers. (you should try out the DNA or Omega drivers)

Also got 512MB dual chanel ram

I can run just about everything on medium settings (no AA) with very little lag.

Rename your video Files (The .BIK files in BF2 Mods folder) to *.Backup. They won't load up at startup and Punkbuster don't kick you for thinking you've got a Hax. Speeds up your entry time quite a bit I think and keeps alot of your memory free for the game.
