    BF 2 Won't Load

    I was so excited to get BF 2, but when i try to load the game I get a quick black flash and then it reverts back to the desktop
    I am currently in the process of downloading the patch, which i haven't installed yet, but i would think that i should get further than a very quick crash when loading the game.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
