    Mines and Ziplines

I was playing SF the other day as an engineer, I put some landmines near a bridge leaving the enemy base. Jumped into a tank and drove off, a little while later I got a message saying -TMF-Badlizzard T90 SomeBody. Although I had not fired a shot I assumed it was my landmine. I have had the same message come up when I was in a jeep, I am sure this confused the heck out of the guy that blew up.

This got me to thinking. What if you place your mines, and happen to be moving with your squad, and you are either on a grapple hook or zipline. Would it give the message that I grapple hooked Someone?

Just kidding, but since you rarely initiate threads I had to do it.

The behavior you mentioned is inconsistent, but I've seen it most often when I've laid mines, died, respawned, and started doing something else when my still-active mines kill someone. Then I get credit for killing with whatever I'm using, be it Jeep or TOW or whatever.

      lmao.

I think it would be a fun experiment, only way I can think of to get kills with it :)

          Interesting note...

While riding a zipline, it counts as being in a vehicle.
I just noticed this since I was riding a zip and auto giving ammo.

Now I wanna see if the same thing happens on ladders and grapple ropes.
