The reason is simple: The FN2000 is the only ambidextrous Bullpup gun, with all others (for example L85A1) you'd get hit by hot brass straight in your face if you fired it from the side it's currently not configured for.
Just to add and confirm i found the following:

The unique feature of the F2000 rifle is its' patented front ejection systems: the spent cases, extracted from the chamber, travel from the rear part of the gun to the ejection port near the muzzle via special ejection tube and falls out of the gun at the safe distance from the shooters' face. The details of this system is still unclear, but when combined with completely ambidextrous controls (FN P90 style), this makes the F2000 100% ambidextrous, any time.

Ooooh! That makes sense, a little tube that I assume you can switch so that it makes the shells come out from either side....ooooh... thats a neat little idea.

          Thank you for explaining that.

And yes, many many threads/posts contain stuff some of us already know... forums are usually full of info like that, aren't they?

So 'Dude', you didn't have to say that:)
Ok, srry, the lack of quotes made me think it was directed towards me. I apologize.

Why bother carry that crap into combat? Best guns are the neat guns that look cool, not like some kind of junk-transporting vehicle.

Re: new sf weapons real life pics?

The PAPOP was the french´s try at a OICW type assault rifle/grenade launcher combo weapon (IIRC it even was conceived way earlier than the OICW).
As we know, such weapons suffer from heaviness and clumsiness, the US cancelled their OICW program for now because of these reasons, until a smaller version is technically feasible.

That makes sense, a little tube that I assume you can switch so that it makes the shells come out from either side....ooooh... thats a neat little idea.
Nope, you don´t have to switch anything, as the brass gets ejected at the front of the weapon. You can switch the ejection port side on most other bullpup rifles, but this requires disassembling the weapon.

Speaking of that big square thing called the PAPOP -

I think this would be cool, but somehow stupid to have in game.

Cleverly enough, its the size and weight of an M60.

Imagine a flashbang gun, it keeps blinding you. wouldn't that be fun!

@titus - the P90 pwns. it should be in every game.

That's almost comical vega - but it doesn't surprise me at all since it is French. Here is a French blast from the past that still haunts the French's reputation as credible small arms manufacturers today:

EA should use this gun for French Special Forces Support Class if, God Forbid, they add French Special Forces to the next expansion.
