So I'm playing in the server known as The Devil's of Quebec last night. US, spawning on an aircraft carrier and trying to get to the mainland in an heli. Never made to the mainland due to some idiots who seem to think the only way to score points was to fly their jets into the helicopters and get 5 or 6 kills. The entire game went on this way. I was killed at least 10 times by these smacktards. Why were they not banned? Any way, any thoughts on these Bozo's?

They get 5 or 6 kills for every one death? Most people wouldn't hesitate to make that kind of trade. Kind of like a spec ops soldier seeing a full APC roll up. I'm sure he's willing to forgo a death for those 5 C4 kills. :p

BOATS are your friends, use them. If the flyboys were that cranked over ramming the helos, use the freaking boats. There's always a way to combat an issue, even a smacktard related one :)

Those are even worse though. Very easy targets for jets and helo's. One burst from the cannon and you're dead

I have an 8:1 kill to death ratio in planes, and boats are just asking to be killed by tanks, choppers and planes.

It can be a pain the ass to get killed many times when your team doesn't get of a carrier like on wake sometimes. but most of the time if the team doesnt suck too bad, they'll eventually capture a flag on the mainland. if not change the server. those guys in the planes are just doing what most of the bf2 players would

I really do have to question the sanity of someone who would continue to attempt the same tactic over and over when the enemy obviously has an effective counter... then get's mad about it.

Yeah, ramming is perty cheap IMHO, but after the 3rd time you should have changed tactics.

What tatic is that? Standing on the carrier and trying to shot a plane down? The boats? Your minch meat. My entire point was that is does not make the game very fun to be killed over and over again without even a chance to play. If I'm on the ground and someone jihads me, fine. If a jet, heli or what ever jihads me 1 time, ok, but over and over again and again is not what I want to spend my time doing. It seems that jets have a superior advantage and take alot of fun out of the game since you can not shoot them down (I know... I know... learn how to fly). Just another reason to hate jets and stay in the urban maps.

I hate those assholes that take the APC and a couple of boats over to the submarine in one of the new SF maps, and spawn kill the whole damn time.

Its complete BS and irritating as all hell.

OK...here's an idea. Load your helo with C4 if you can get it to yourself, fly, and as soon as you hear the jet, bail. Don't hit the chute until you hit the water, hopefully the C4 explosion gets you a kill and you swim the rest of the way to shore. It's amazing what critical thinking does in this game.

Join a different server. Hell if the pilot was better he'd be hitting you with missiles and you'd die just a s quick.

That same problem is on every wake server. Just get a boat, take it as far south as you can go, then as far west as you can go, then head north and take the north village.
