Tips on Joining a Clan
1. The clan finds you. Find a clan server that is recruiting and start playing there frequently, and get to know and befriend some of their guys. Especially their leader. This is also to make sure that the clan you plan to join aren't total a**holes. If they like you enough and decide that you're a good player, they'll probably ask if you want to join.
2. Make sure you have the time and dedication to join a clan.
Tips for STARTING a Clan
1. It's best to start a clan with a group of buddies. This helps in both clan management, and the recruiting factor. People don't like to join clans with only one person, so a group of buddies really helps out.
2. Make a website. You need a place to post messages such as information on communications, matches, etc. for the clan (Preferably you're own forum).
3.Communication. Make sure there is ONE global way to communicate with your clan in real-time. I prefer Xfire. It has voice chat capabilities and you can chat with people in-game.
4. Make sure you have A LOT of time and dedication. (And a few bucks on you)
