Appearantly playing with assist points isn't "cool" anymore

Anyone else notice, maybe just in SF, but maybe in BF2: Vanilla also, usually all but one or two people on your team are snipers, spec ops, and anti-tank (if it is a map with a n00b tube add "assualt" to that list) in a 32 player game. It seems like the whole community is now playing this game simply to make it hard for armor whores to get by, not to keep their friendlies alive or to stay well armed for an infantry fight.

I'd take a kit with assist points over a kill-whore kit in most instances.

He's saying that people are now using the Combat kits rather then the teamwork kits. Mainly so they can make life hard for armour whores.

the reason why they use combat kits instead of teamkits is because the combat kits have special ability's like flash bang, graple hook, zip line , the team kits like medic and repair haven't got anything extra, and the SF maps are actualy build to use with grapple and zip, putting them in disadvantage.

only the support has a tear gass, and support, you find them regular in SF, more then in vanilla .

Nothing to do with against armor whores or something

            I've said all along... BF2 is a 4-kit game.

I guess that's a good point. However, though you may see more support in SF, there are still only about 1 per team each game.

Well, look at Karkand, IT"S ARMOR WHORE/NOOBNADER NATION. Seriously, i get more points than noobnading assaults by playin medic and getting revives/heal points, or by playing support with MG36 and tons of ammo points.

Actually, armor whoring on Karkand is harder than it looks. You have to fight in tight areas and (for BF:Vanilla) there is tons of cover from vehicles.

Yeah it is pathetic that I can switch kits on a map and take not only medic, heal, revive scores, but repair, engineer, supply, and support as well. I have screenshots of taking 8-10 top awards in the summary screen. Most of those titles only getting them with scores of 1 or even 2 pts. Pathetic.

Ya, i suck at armor whoring, i get like a 5:1 ratio at best. But i see friggen annoying armor whores that do nothing but armor whore all the time and get like 20:1. I hate armor whores.

That's what you create squads for.
I have never had a problem using someone elses grapple hook, or zip line when playing as a medic. In fact, most players were [b]waiting[b] for me to follow their zipline, or grapple on to the roof with them. I do not see it as a disadvantage. It is still a team-based game and if everyone had a grappling hook, then everybody would sit on top of some roof, healing himself, and sniping with the L85...

I really don't see why it is such a problem, especially in something like SF too. I mean, there are so many tight quarters and indoor areas avoiding/getting above/getting below a tank is easy.

I usually don't play on SF maps, on karkand, there's just TOO many armor whores.
