Do you guys find it hard to find medics in SF ?

Well, I do, in normal BF2, there where tons of medics, the moment you got shot was the moment a medic arived to revive you, you couldn't walk around without seeing mountains of medic packs, ...

Now in SF, you get shot, no revive, you need some health, you ask for a medic, not one shows up, also on the radar, no medics to see.
I know the reason, it's because they didn't give the medic some special tools like graple and stuff, but it actualy sucks, he should at least have a grapple hook or something, where there where way to many medics in BF2, there are way to litle medics in SF .

its always either too many medics or no medics at all when I play.

i prefer medic in SF the original medic unlock la8~ is excelent at long range and short range fighting, more often then not i can take out a full squad at close range with that rifle then i get killed just because i can heal. and thats no "bad" squad either just other members of my clan

Well, at least they drop a whole load of heal packs that give away your position to the enemy.

yeah, that is why I get all the heal and revive points when I play SF

SF is played mainly because of the KILL stats, not the TEAM stats, therefor I prefer still vanilla BF2

Medic has no special abilities in SF, so people don't like it to much. Besides that using a grenade launcher is lots of easier then bothering about teamwork things like reviving and healing.

I love playing SF as a medic. The maps are smaller, fewer vehicles, I rack up tons of team points from heals and revives.

The medics did get the G36E unlock, which I've found to be an extremely accurate gun. I loved my L85A1 but now load out almost exclusively with the G36E.

I play Medic class in SF about half the time. I noticed the same thing though. I rarely see Medics in SF. I think I'll be Medic from now on. well maybe 75% of the time.

In normal BF2, I play medic almost exclusively. In SF, it's the kit I play least.

In my opinion, EA killed the medic.

Yeah, on Karkand, two different situations: Situation 1; No medic, i get fragged by a F2000 GL just when i'm about to neutralize the hotel flag. there's no medic out there. Situation 2; So many medics, i see 3 people jumping on my body trying to revive me, and then all 4 of us in total get fragged by the guy who fragged us in the first place.

That's what happens all the time, you either love em or hate em, for me, i actually wait for an area to clear. I don't go suicide to revive.

yeah, its cause there isnt really anything added to the medic in sf. we need grappling hooks aswell in my opinion.

my sentiments exactly, I only play medic on sas now, cause the G36E rules sooo much.what a joy of a gun to use, although it would benefit from full-auto on very close combat situations. made medic my favourite class in the game, I dont even use the L85A1 anymore or go for special forces class:)
you get to heal yourself, you get a mother of a gun, you get points from healing team-members, what more could you ask?????

It gets really annoying, either
1) im a medic and all the spec ops/assault guys never use grapples/zips, or

2) im spec ops or assault and no one is medic

I still like medic, its just I need 100 hrs on other kits to get expert badges.
