Best way to get combat badges are jets. 40 kills is easy in a jet.

say if i had 15 hours engineer played and couldnt get 20 kills could i just jump in a tank or chopper etc and stack up 20 kills and would it count?

But can you get 40 kills on foot ????

I had done it in a round, but Ive used a few kits. Still no expert badges for me. Got 39 in a MER chopper, on Oman, but on foot only - thats a mission

Its hard to get 40 on foot. I think the highest I got on foot was 32 as spec op on karkland.

I don't think so...Just play on a 64 player map with 32 people in it.I just got 46 kills on warlord all on foot playing assault as MEC.I guess I was just playing with noobs lol I even got like 10 knife kills.Never shoot medics reviving people! always wait for them to revivie and noob tube them.I don't have 100hrs so I didn't get no badge
