    Complaining?

    Okay check it,

a lot of people got issues with the GL and accuracy of the ingame weapons.

Lets take this on a factual basis here: why I bother I dont know, but its 6am and ive been awake almost 24 hours so here I go.

Point 1: The holy noob toob is loaded with a non-distance activated projectile grenade. Observe its lack of dorsal fins and internal -yet visible-
crank mechinism that is a rotation activated fuse. Observe that this weapon when fired explodes instantly, and would explode if dropped by a clumsy handler (but we hope it doesnt).

Point 2: accuracy of weapons in a similuation is extremely hard to reproduce, and appointing differences of accuracy between different games (cs:s and bf2 or COD2 or WHATEVER!) is a misnomer. For starters, they're not even the same game, *and* the game developers would modify the guns to suit the environments they're used in. The m16 in CS would have a higher spread and deviation due to two main factors: firstly, CS involves a lot of indoor fighting, therefore a fully automatic weapon that peppers a target area is more desireable than say.. a laser beam. Secondly, the second point was included in the first "factor", and i aint gonna repeat myself, so shut up.

Bf2 was designed around mostly large industrial areas, where the weapons at hand would play their role both functionally, and effectively. I suggest for all naysayers to take whatever weapon they grudge against, and give it a personal field test. The Bungie guys did it for Halo 2, so why can't you?

Some weapons are designed in real life for accuracy, some arent. The ak-47 doesnt come equipped with a 10x scope and a laserpointer, at least standard. The m95 does not hammer out 300 rpm, nor could it and remain a practical weapon.

I respect noobtoobers for their weapon of choice, they alone bare the brunt of being looked down apon as lower members of society for using a weapon that while potentially a massively damaging pacifier, carries the added risk of killing themselves and inadvertantly running the risk of hitting teammates.

And I bet these people respect me when i carve them up at 150m with my PKM.

      Re: Complaining?

its called "noob tube" with a reason, that is, not because using it is "noobish" but because only "noobs" will find it effective and ... whine about it.

BF2 have large maps, noob tube only work in close allys of Karkand, where, sadly, most noobs play so they can imagine themself playing CS.

The gernade launcher is not that effective to the extent of massive kills, you cant get a 2+ K/D ratio with gernade launcher 24/7, so the point? Its only cheap, but not effective.

unless you play karkand 24/7 (which may I remind you is only 1 out of how many map BF2 have?), GL wont be a problem.

:blabla: :blabla: :blabla: please stop making new threads about the GL. It's truly an exciting topic that nobody can agree on, and making new threads about it, will not help. Please use one of the other threads already created about this.
