Not really. I've rarely seen complaints about the M11-87. Thing is, you have to AIM it in order to kill in one shot, so that precludes all of the sloppy players from adopting it. The GL just has to hit somewhere around the enemy's feet. Big difference.

u are 100% right there, also if u think about it the shotguns are underpowered, specially the automatic ones, and with a shotgun if someone goes pron in front of us we are doomed unless we jump to get a bigger area of their body covered and even that way its hard, and unlike the grenade louncher we cannot kill jeeps with one shot, and kill people at long distances.

using a shotgun takes alot of nerves and extremelly quick reactions to aim right where u need to, that is something u dont need with the grenade louncher, since u just need to press jump key and shoot at the ground NEAR the enemy and not on the enemy.

nerfing even more the shotguns would make us see even less engineers on the game.

Surprising since almost all clan matches have been reduced to GL/bunny-hop wars.

suckas? ur english is worse than mine.... anywho, i have dealt with "GLers", and they usually do backflips because of the power of a gun called M11-87.... it feels soooooooo good.

Just me or I find contradiction between the whines

whine 1: everyone uses assult
whine 2: everyone uses SpecOps

Different roles have different level of difficulty of killing other people, its all the assult players complaining they cant just kill a tank with a gernade, while the SpecOps can, Assult should have its advantages of being more powerful than an Engineer.

I say, keep the gernade launcher, just make it take longer to reload and limit the ammo to 2, simple as that, if you want to "noob tube" someone, have fun, and you can also have fun waiting for it to reload when the next person comes up to you with a knife and you are stuck at reloading.

it was meant to be made as a tactical grenade launcher not shooting from dead zero close range!
they should make it so it ARMS afte a certain distance

use one of the other threads, there are plenty out there already and nothing is being accomplished by them either.
