have a logitech trackball with 4 buttons.... two large buttons and two very small raised buttons right next to the other two. I put fire/altfire on large buttons and cycle/reload on other two.

plus .. after getting used to a trackball.. i will never use a mouse to game again.

What you said is contradicting: After using a trackball you will never use a mouse to game again? Then why don't you get an optical one?
Or did you mean that you will enver use ANOTHER mouse to game again?

i like wired mouse,i have 5 buttons on it so i can use it for flying in the game but im thinking about getting a joystick

Get yorself a joystick! Makes flying jets so much easier....
