what is up with this?

Getting disconnected from the server. "connection lost".

Is this a bug i havent heard of? Crappy servers? OR my connection? Everytime I get disconnected I immediately go and check my connection and do my own diagnostics. Everything is always fine. Hmmmm its very annoying. Anyone else?

BTW, I only join low pinged servers, and this happens like 3 or 4 times per night.

You get that same message if the server goes down or there's a problem on your end.

Yup, confusing and unhelpful message, but that's nothing new. I have only seen one error screen after a BF2 crash and it included the words "You shouldn't see this"! :laugh:

Happened to me last night 3 times on the same server, The thing I found out was if I rejoined the same server right away I didn't lose my score or kills/deaths.....

happens regularly to me, although in my case its due to a dodgy router and shareza whoring flatmates. Same as above though, just join straight back in and you don't lose your scores.

Its a server problem. Notice how on 64 when it happens you see it happening to a lot of people ? Like up the top you see maybe 8 people get disconnected. Just another bug that needs fixage.

Only really noticed this on 64 player servers...and I have only been booted a couple of times...not enough to really complain about it.

Thought it was a combination of my network and theirs...or something like that.

happens all the time in sf. it happened for a while in vanilla but sorted itself out. my connection is always fine. i hope this one sorts itself out also.

Its definetly not a connection problem. Thats for sure. Its an internal error with the game and servers. Probably wont be a fix for a year or two, knowing Ea.
