me and my friend were talking about MACs and laughing about how they're not too nice when i comes to videogames. However when it comes to photography and video editing its another story.

VirtualPC just isn't good enough to run games well. Hell, Minesweeper lags for me.

          LOL!

          Thats not going to work.

There is absolutely no way for you to get it on Mac.

DICE may release it later. But I think they will wait till Mac start releasing Intelbased platforms

It could work. But he will need about 4 gigs of ram, or more. Also, i had XP with virtual PC on it, and installed XP on the virtual machine, then installed virtual PC on the virtual XP, then installed XP on the virtual XPs virtual PC LOL. and it ran fairly well. If it can do that, it can probably play BF2 on all really low settings.

The problem is when you cross platforms. With Apple movinf over to the x86 architecture there might be a chance.

Yeah, I've seen it, but how many Mac users are actually gonna pick that (or any of the desent multi-button mice that are out there) up?

Besides, I'd put my G150 up against that anyday. 7 buttons (yes, I can program all of 'em) plus scroll wheel. $15 cheaper than that uber Mac mouse and has better optical tracking.

I'm of the opinion that Macs are like Volvos. You pay more for 'em, but they are more reliable for general use (which is great if you don't know anything about cars). However, if you DO know something about cars, you're boned 'cause you're simply not allowed to do anything to 'em!

Hmm... ya need ta save some bucks 'n invest in a PC.

PCs can do everything a Mac can do. I remember having to do a video project for a class I was taking and had to do some serious editing. I worked on the school's Mac editing suite for 6 fruggin hours getting everying set up. Did the final render (which took another 3 hours) and POOF! It corrupted not only the finnal render, but most of the source too!

After I finished freaking out, I took my source backups (thank god the originals were all on PC formated Zip Disks which is why I had to make duplicates) home and downloaded some free editing packages. I had the project finished and renders 4 hours later.

I totally ticked my sister off with this story. She's a professional editor and big Mac fan.
