I'm assuming he means Artillery.

You have to be the Commander of the team (choose the 'Apply' button at the top of the screen at the kit select window) and then use Home (or Caps Lock) to bring up the Commander screen. Right-click and select 'Artillery' on your intended target.

Use the noobcannon and go for the long range bombs. I do it.

YOu can be a squad leader, bring up a map screen, and right click for options. Also, you can hold Tfor on the run comands.

Yes, requesting as a SL is almost as good as being commander in SP since there are no competing requests. Only thing you don't get is the satellite scan. (And you can't order the other squads but they aren't too good about obeying anyway.)

The mortars were more or less useless even in JO until the reality mod came out for it.

I thought mortars worked well in JointOps. In AAS, you basically knew where the enemy was all the time. Mass death.

Would be kool to have a mortar team , 2 x guys to operate and not dependant on cmdr for targets .
