thanks for the replys.see im not the only one. has to be a bug of somekind.i dont try to revive when they are in walls,under stuff or sliding down hills. kind of point less chasing a body to save puting youself at risk of dieing. had a guy today die infront of me in middle of the road flat ground no hills after killing the guy that killed him.out come the paddles it was clear i could bring him back.nothing but clear recharging.maybe next patch they will fix it.i mostly play medic 90% of the time kind of enjoy it.

How can people know that the one that they try to revive isn't browsing his spawn/team screen?
I guess it's easier to assume stuff and call it a bug that happends sometimes?

i think there is a bug,it seems once you cant revive them no more they just stay there and not disappear for a couple of mins

I don't believe that is constructive or helpful to this conversation. Nobody is making assumptions, we are trying to figure out what the circumstances are behind the "apparent" increase in "unable to revive" scenario's. Some people have the problem, some have not noticed it. If you have nothing to add to the topic, don't post. Guess I could add some rollyeyes here.

Fact remains that several people said that if the person-to-be-revived is browsing their spawn/kit/team window then they cant be revived. Isn't that the reason why people have 'problem' to revive some people? I would call it a problem too if I didnt know about the reason behind what I stated above. No harm meant

If someone trying to revive someone with whom he could communicate too, and would fail to revive, then I would understand that some people would call it a bug/whatever. maybe I overlooked some thread that said this?

I've noticed this too on Kharkand, I came across it more than 5 times. They just cant be revived, and yes it was on the chest. I could see the little heart above him and if he was killed by a grenade it wouldn't show I don't think.

People can be revived from Arty.

This is absolutely false. I've been revived many times while I was browsing the spawn/kit select screen. While I play medic normally, I switch kits depending on the situation...if I've been killed by armor I'll come back as AT, etc. I'm doing this and ZAP! I'm right back on the battlefield.

Suicides don't explain it though. I've seen the problem with team mates that just died in a gun battle and I'm on VOIP with them. I kill the enemy that killed them, drop to revive, ZAP!, nothing, move up/down/left/right in case it was slightly off, ZAP! nothing. We cuss DICE again, laugh and move on. I think it's something in the game where the body and/or your paddles aren't exactly where they appear to be on the screen so you get a miss with the paddles. That's why on the second attempt I always move right or left, up or down. Sometimes I get it on the second try.

You can't revive if any body part is in a wall or fence or any other object. You can revive someone if they are killed, need to get there fast enough. Ive been revived many times like this.

yea i noticed the same thing if you dont get him by the 2nd try hes not comeing back it kinda wierd. and some time you can bring back guys that dont even have any bar abouve them. i think it s glitch.

I agree with jlspence; I am often revived while in the spawn screen, or the squad screen for that matter. I sometimes play with a buddy at his house (I play on a laptop... sucks but thats what i got so...) so I have had the chance to see his screen while reviving him. Sometimes when I can't revive him, I will look at his screen and see that I am sometimes not even in his view and up to a few meters away. I wonder if perhaps the hitbox for reviving his body and the actual location of his body on the ground are sometimes seperated. Similarily, I can often revive people whose bodies are stuck half-way into a crate or in sandbags. When revived, they then "shoot" over out of the object, sometimes by a fair amount of distance (relatively speaking).
