I do not have SF installed and am running BF 2 V1.12. I just got promoted so I can pick a new weapon. I have the G3 already unlocked but it wont let me unlock the new Assault Weapon from SF even though I installed the patch beforehand and the website said I should be able to. The new SF guns dont show up as choices for unlocks. Wierd. Has this happened to any of you guys, how can it be solved?

You need to buy SF to have access to it dude!
The only reason for the patch was so that you would see the correct redering on other players and if you kill and pick up the kit of someone who has SF.
Flashbang effect was also added in the patch...
Did you think EA would give you that for free! -
