Roll Call for a Righteous Cause

    To the BF2 community:

After the release of SF, we know see that many many people ( people with all ranges of computers, from crappy, to brand freakin new ) are experiencing major fps issues with BF2:SF.

I would simply like all those who have refused to buy BF2:SF to comment, and acknowledge your foresight. Who could have guessed that EA would rush out another buggy BF game, just for cash?

I want to see who didn't fall for it.

I bought the game early because I'm not tight with 30$ . It was buggy in the beginning but now it's smoother than ever. I guess it picks the victims randomly...

I didn't buy it because I'm getting tired of BF2 gameplay, and wasn't pleased with how BF2 ran on my system. Also, $30 is too much for an expansion that doesn't really offer a whole lot of new content. Maybe if there was a single-player campaign I'd buy it. For now, I'll wait for the price to come down.

Same amount of new maps as the original, more Armies, new weapons and toys/vehicles...SF could have ben released instead BF2 and no one would have been the wiser. And most expansions cost $30 anyway, so it isn't like they price gouged.

As far as the lag, is has to be server side, since it comes and goes. I have yet to find anywhere in the game that is a constant as far as problems, sometimes Iron Gator runs like butter, sometimes like ass.

I noticed a drop in performance, but really, it is minimal for me. It is a problem, just drop your settings slightly.

I wasn't going to buy it, however, I am glad I did. . .I really like some of the maps and I love having the spec ops gun with the medic kit now. . .I totally kick ass as a medic now. . . not only saving life but "blastin does foos" too :)

No SF for me. Still waiting for the SP mod tools and a good patch.

I bought it earlier than I expected to.
                        I don't regret it.

The new maps aren't just new maps... they are a whole new ball game. Much less vehicle focus, some fantastic opportunities for great teamwork (using zip lines and grapple hooks can increase a squad's mobility drasticly), and some great toys that aren't usable in regualr BF2 (RPGs make me happy!).

New maps, new vehicles, new weapons, new toys, new game mechanics, new tactics... exactly what else were people expecting from an expansion??
