Been looking into it myself for a while.....reviews have the xfx 6600 gt 128 at the top of the list....Newegg has it for $119 ..........or a smoking 6600 gt 256 for about $180 ... you still cannot run all settings on high of course unless you're running a 7800 gtx @ about $400, you can pick up an ATI x800 gto and overclock and open 4 more pipelines for about $170 as well,...personally, I'm saving a little more to upgrade to the xfx 6800 gs model...12 pipelines, 256 mb, nice overcloking ...competes with the 6800 gt closely for speed...THE BEST for your buck @ $219 at Newegg

Ive got the 6600Gt 128mb and it runs BF2 on medium settings @ 1280x1024@75 fine, I've overclocked it by 10% and it seems to be fine, just with stock cooling. Slight increase in temp but only 3-5c. I would recommend if your on a budget.
