I agree with alecs. Who gives a **** about realism, just make it fun. This game would be better with respawns because people camp and sit in one spot with their finger up their ass looking at nothing acting like their looking for the enemy, and you spend 5 minutes watching him and it turns out the enemy was idle.
Get your "realism" and shove it up your ass.

Its about what you like, some like realism some don't. Just because you don't like it don't knock it. Personally i prefer both games, each one has its own good points.

I agree that it has its good points too, but I just dont believe its as realistic as as the people claim it is. Okay so your gun gets jammed once in a while big deal. And sorry about being that harsh at the end of the post I was a bit annoyed about something at the time resulting in every little thing bothered me too. But it's all up to your taste. When I want intense action I play the Battlefield series, if Im in the mood for some slow paced action, I'll go for AA. But I only mainly have it installed because I'm not downloading a 1 gig file when it gets vehicles (I'm going to use the patches) the vehicle ideas sounds EXTREMELY satisfying.Comment

But dont expect them to be like in bf2: jump in a drive around like a maniac. I bet u have to go thru 10s of trainings to drive a car. And when u do it, it still wont be like bf2.Comment

CSS is fun when you just want to play and not worry about anything else...well...you still will worry about "awp whores" or "shotty whores" or "deagle whore" or "any whores" for that matter but it IS more fun to play than AA.

CS:Source is the best online FPS, alot better than BF2 IMO. They're both excellent games and I own both but the Source Engine owns and the gameplay in Source is amazingly addictive. But yeah, CS:S is also better than AA.Comment

I disagree.. ive played cs and css ... and i think that DC beats them both, let alone BF2 for the fact that cs/css have a very limited number of maps and once you know them and the choke points there is not alot else you can do to improve. you just wander about with nothing else to do apart from m@ke |_|p new w4y5 to typ3 so jo0 so|_|nd l|k3 @ 5 y3ar Old t0sser.... oh yes and every now and again you can accuse someone of bieng a haxxor.Originally posted by Prince

dont get me wrong i like cs/css its a great place to start before you graduate into a proper battlefield player

I prefered AA. The gameplay was alot slower, and you had to be very careful and aware (otherwise you get to watch people play for 5 minutes)
I still clearly remember the games when I was last alive on my team, and all I could hear was the noise from the surrounding objects, as well as the occasional echoed shouts from the enemy in the distance. Knowing that you are the only one that can win, and your entire team is watching you adds to the pressure.
CS is fun...but I never really got into it. I mostly played on one server because I knew the people there. Going into some random server was just no fun at all to me. Also, CS is mainly a rambo, go in guns blazing type of game..something I hate

NOT TRUE!
if you do that on any respectable server (clan servers) then you are quaranteed dead once you reach a foot down the door. it just doesnt work.
you have to slowly move your way and have that "twitch" reflex going on.Comment

Well it all depends on what you like. If you like realism and something that requires skill then download America's Army. If you want something that is very unrealistic and something you can be a champion over night then get Counter Strike. It all just depends on who you are and what you want to do. America's Army is also one of those slow moving games and Counter Strike which is very fun and addicting goes very fast.Comment
