Getting kicked from BF2

Anyone having a problem with getting kicked as your playing. Its like I'm getting a popup and its minimizing BF2 and bringing me back to my desktop. I then have to click on BF2 in my Taskbar to go back in but it takes a good 30 seconds and when I get back in most of the time someone killed me.

One more problem how do I adjust the mic in BF2. Mine is very low.
