Hey guys I took about a 3 month break from BF2 (havn't played since early Sept) and am now just downloading the new patch which is going to take about half an hour. Anyways I'm having trouble getting into EA's site now and was wondering if you guys could fill me in on some of the things they fixed. Like did they fix the bug where you see friendly as enemies and did they do anything to the blackhawk etc. Any help would be nice Thanks! :p

Not much has changed in my opinion. I havent seen the red/blue tag bug since the new patch, but that could be because I haven't played much. In 1.03 they messed with the vehicles and now only the driver gets points for capturing a point, so everyone has to get out. Retarded though since the gunners should get points...seeing how they are defending the jeep or whatever you are in. Really the 1.12 patch did nothing at all, least from what I can tell. I have heard AA still sucks, haven't tried it because I consider AA turrents to be death traps lolComment

The big diffrence you will face in BF2 is the flashbangs and new weapons... which are only given to those who have Special Forces installed.Comment

Hey thanks for the help guys. I was able to play for a few hours today and that first flashbang scared the hell out of me lol. Anyways I got another question that I decided to post here instead of starting a new thread.
So before I left for 3 months, I could search through all the servers easily For example I'd type in %24/7 to find all the 24/7 maps. But now it seems I can't do this. I can't even sort by map when I type in the map name. Does this work for you guys?Comment
